User Roles & Permissions

This article covers the different user permission types in your Ask-AI account via the Admin Panel. 

 

Admin

An admin is like a "super user" with the ability to oversee the entire account in the admin panel. Admins can view the account usage dashboard and export data, manage user permissions, assign and control group permissions, and define and control smart filters.

Data Analyst

The 'Data Analyst' role is allowed to view the usage dashboard. This role is meant to be granted to those not needing admin level control, but rather visibility into data in the admin panel. 

 

Answers Access

Users with 'Answer Access' (seen as 'Answers - Company Name') can utilize all capabilities within the Ask-AI Chrome extension and sidebar. They have full access to the ANSWERS product. This role should be assigned to all users intended to use Ask-AI. This role does not allow access to the admin panel.

MosAIc Access

Users with 'MosAIc - Read' access can access your account’s MosAIc, whether it’s the auto-generated Knowledge MosAIc or additional MosAIc purchased for your account (e.g., tickets or Slack). This role should be granted to users intended to have the ability to use the MosAIc. This role does not allow access to the admin panel.
